Program Overview

The Academic Tutoring Program at iLC is designed to serve mainly international students enrolled in a local school in the United States or an international school elsewhere in the world for their academic enhancement in formal K-12 education. By applying sheltered English instruction and allowing for inquiry-based learning, the Academic Tutoring Program has been helping students as it prepares students for accommodation and socialization into the western academic world.

As the courses are intended for students who need help with their schoolwork, most will be scheduled once or twice a week to match the school’s academic calendar. Each class’s duration is two hours.
